Welcome to view selected photographs and drawings by Nina Suomalainen. Nina has made a career working with international aid and crisis management organizations such as the UN and OSCE. She resides currently in Sarajevo, Bosnia, working in the leadership of the OSCE Mission there. Since 1993 she has worked and travelled in the Balkan region, Africa, Asia, Middle East. Nina is an outdoor enthusiast and loves skiing and hiking in the forests with her dog. Nina is also a musician, who in her free-time plays alto-sax and records music.
In her native Finland Nina is also a politician, having been active in the Helsinki city council and an active debater in national and local politics.
